This was a romantic read. More romance than mafia. However, this is what I truly look for in a mafia romance.
Serafina, once idolized is cast as an outcast after she was kidnapped and birthed, then married her captor. Her sister steps in as her replacement in her arranged marriage. The build up to her marriage to Danilo takes YEARS. I liked how Cora Reilly builds it with some many different events throughout their lives.
The blonde wigs, the sexual tensions, the underboss and mafia ties make this such a good read.
It follows from Sofia as a child to married with Danilo and children. I enjoyed this from start to finish. I truly wish more were written like this. So so good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
