Havana Storm by Dirk Cussler, Clive Cussler
3.0
3 stars -
Lacked depth
Failed to use a broad vocabulary
(Unless I was tuned to hearing a specific word, it sounded as though the author kept using "in an instant" a lot.)
Plot is very interesting
Overall, the plot of the story is great - Cuba, nuclear missiles, ship wrecks, underwater disasters and adventure. I did wonder whether Cussler knew something about Fidel Castro because he mentioned F.C. died in 2016... Freakishly enough, that actually happened. :-p
The only reason I didn't love this story was the audio book narrator's voice is hard to follow. He would be a better narrator for AxeMen or some other Discovery or History channel show. His voice was almost always the same tone. Also, again with the lack of depth to the characters.
