The Last of the Mohicans by Bill Bowler

4.0

I have not read the original version of this book, but an adaptation, especial for those who want to learn English (and that is why I took this one). I liked this story. It happens quickly, mainly written in simple periods and, always, action after action (it has not time for the reader take a breath). And this may have confused me in many moments of the story. Other point that has bothered me up is the fact that the Indians are treated here as villains, evil people, whereas the white men are treated as the victims, the innocent people. And we all know this is not the true, things did not happen like this. And this made me way too bothered along the reading. However, it is a great story, with a surprising end (even though I do not think it is unpredictable). I cannot wait for watching its cinematographic version!
