Shopaholic to the Rescue by Sophie Kinsella

4.0

This books really redeemed the previous one in the series. Whereas the one before left us on an unneeded cliffhanger, this one wraps nicely and in more of the style I am accustomed to. It really seems as though this books was a continuation of the previous and would have been better served as one book.

On the other hand, this books is all I have come to expect of this series and more. When we join our hero Becky, she is on the road, chasing Suz's husband and her dad, who are off into the desert.
This may actually be my favorite book yet in the series, I feel like Becky really grew over the course of these last two books (sorting out why she shopped, her priorities), while still coming out in the end, very much the Shopaholic with her crazy plans (Becky's 11 was awesome). I also love the touch that our bank manager from back in the early books made an important reappearance. :)
