The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
by Mark Twain
3.8 stars rounded up.
I read it in anticipation of reading James and I’m glad I did. There are parts of the book where the dialect makes reading it a bit challenging, but it gets easier.
The last 50-ish pages were a slog for me and the tone of the novel shifted in a disappointing way.
