It took me a bit to get into because the writing style is not what I'm used to, but I eventually found myself having a hard time putting it down. I didn't think a story line of necromancers and their cavaliers in a hunted mansion, in space would be something that worked together, yet I was pleasantly surprised in how much I loved this book. I'm really looking forward to reading the other books in this series now.
