I. Freaking. Loved. It. I wasn’t even half-way through the story and I already knew it would be a 5-star read for me. Took me only 3 days to finish reading the book. The way the authors wrote this is amazing! It’s literally inspired from the Tangled movie but they didn’t forcibly try to reenact the plot of the movie. Tangled Up in You is a story of its own. I love that they got creative with the names of Rapunzel and Eugene in the book and became their own characters. You don’t even need to watch the movie because the characters are their own people. I love the little mentions of details in the movie like Max as a car and Pascal as a cat. The depth of Ren (Rapunzel) and Edward (Eugene)’s character developments? I HAD BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH. THE ROMANCE BUILDING? SOLD. Perfection. Christina Lauren perfectly captured the world of Tangled and set it into a realistic yet life changing experience for readers. ☀️💜
