I could’ve dnf’d it to spare my tortured soul. But no, my stubborn self wouldn’t let me dnf a book no matter what; so I read the whole thing and it took me nearly 4 months to do so :)
The main love interests are both adorable, but the way this book is narrated made it hard for me to stay interested; I found it quite rambly. There’re too many side events that I didn’t care about. I was fighting the urge to dnf this book, and I didn’t obviously but also I couldn’t help but to skim through a lot of pages. I hope the movie isn’t as boring as this book is; I’ve been looking forward to watching it for a while but I wanted to read the book first…
Update: the movie is a hundred times better than the book :)
