Oz by Lily Morton

5.0

2nd re-listen.
In a continuation of trying to reach my happy place and not blow up in people's faces immediately after finishing Deal Maker I started Oz.... starting to calm down considerably.... I mean after the Oz and Silas driving lessons, so much laughter relaxes.

---------------------------

I was really having a bad week in terms of reading/listening and then I got my credit from audible and raced to get Oz.

Lily's amazing story that just takes you on a journey that never tires, never bores, never even hesitates together with Joel Leslie's narration that colors and intonates even more everything to life make a 9hr listen seem like it lasted a minute or so.

Revisiting Oz with the memorable scenes of stuffing Silas in a closet, the driving lesson, Oz and Silas's first date, the before (going up 17 floors and the using the flower bouquet as a crutch) and after Silas meeting Oz's mom, their game of strip bowling.... so much fun, laugh, lust and love.

I still hate Olivia though and she got a way gentler tongue lashing than she deserved. And now I feel bereft and I wish Oz and Silas were getting a 2nd book 'cos darn it all I miss them!
