This is on the 2022/2023 Texas Bluebonnet reading list and it is a great choice.  It isn't easy to find a book that will appeal to 3rd-6th graders, but I believe for the most part this one will.  Maybe not older, more mature girls or boys, but all in all a great selection.  This is about twin girls entering 6th grade - one wants things to stay how they've always been and the other wants to try to become her own person, not Maureen's twin.  They end up competing against each other in the student council election when they both run for president.  Of course they fight and of course they make up, and come to some compromises and learn a lot about themselves and each other along the way.
