The Song of Achilles

It took days for me to get through the first few chapters. But once I pushed through them, I completed the book in 2 days. It's a gripping and amazing story. The best part was I was able to draw a lot of similarities between this story and Mahabharata, which is a forever favorite of mine.
I am much more intrigued by Greek mythology after this. The love shown in the book is so pure and devotional. In the end, nothing but love persists. The love between the souls is far beyond boundaries or even in this case prophecies made by deities.
The way the writer portrays different emotions in the characters makes their decisions/the paths they took linger in my mind much after completing the book too.
A story of love and glory worth reading I would say!
