Cooper is being auctioned off for a charity date night and the team owner's sister has been trying to get in his pants for months which is a complication he doesn't need, so when his long time friend Violet offers to bid on him when he says he'll pay for it to save his butt he's incredibly grateful... then things take a turn he wasn't expecting and he winds up fake dating his best friend sister.
Blakely is utterly reliable for both adorable and steamy moments and it's why I always enjoy her books.
