Sightwitch
by Susan Dennard
4.5
RTC ...
It's here....YAY (another jumble of thoughts)
I'm assuming everyone has read the previous two books Truthwitch and Windwitch~
So here's a jumbled/very basic synopsis of what's going on:
Sightwitch is kind of a prequel because it tells the journey of Ryber Fortiza (a side character we didn't get too see much of) before the events of Trutchwitch etc... She was residing at a hidden convent with her sisters who one after another....never return after going into the mountain.....
Anyways. I adored Sightwitch <3 Dennard has definitely improved writing-wise, and she has continued to make beautiful friendships. T-T The friendships are the best parts of her books, and I honestly want to see more portrayals like Dennard does.
The expansion of the world was wonderful especially the touch of history/stories. As a history lover, reading about stories/history of said stories within stories makes me very happy! The Twelve Paladins were so fascinating.
Also, the illustrations, journal entries and the map were lovely too!
Extra plus... the book was pretty <3 (and signed ;)) A nice addition to the shelf.
