I want to start off first by saying that Things We Never Got Over will, without a doubt, be on my top five books list for 2022. You're probably asking how on Earth I'll know that considering we're barely two weeks into January... because IT'S THAT GOOD, my friends!
Our main characters are Knox and Naomi. Naomi has a handful of issues that she's facing... No job, car and belongings are stolen, and she receives a big surprise when she arrives in Knockemout. Knox is a grumpy grumpster barber in town. He's also crazy gorgeous. Their story is, at times, frustrating (I'm looking at you, Knox!) but it's so full of tension and steam just begging to burst!
Also, Lucy seriously writes the next supporting cast in her books and TWNGO is no exception. I adore how connected you feel to all of the characters. Lucy totally makes you feel like you're part of the story.
Ok, now go start Things We never Got Over. You'll laugh, cry, shake your first, and fan yourself. I would give this book 10 stars if I could!
