this was a very fun book! a quintessential rom-com, exactly what i needed to end my long af reading slump. i also loved the family and sibling dynamics in this book. ethan and olive were interesting characters as well. the only criticism i have is that the tone and style of the narrative suddenly changed 2/3rds into the book. the funny banter and witty writing just disappeared. it was mostly because the couple got together and the main conflict was in focus, but it felt like I was reading a completely different book, and i quickly lost interest.
this was my first christina lauren book, and I'll definitely try their other books because the writing felt really comforting and effortless to me.
