This volume featured one of the best short stories within a book that I absolutely loved! In fact, this short story, which was supposedly a Czech folktale, was the part I remembered most when I watched the anime years ago. It’s nice to see a little bit more on the background of how the tale affected Johan. Its title was A Nameless Monster which was about a monster who longed to have an identity, but ended up stealing people’s names instead. Highly recommend this volume! This is definitely one of the highlights of the series!
