3.5 stars...
I was able to fit this book into a prompt for Get A Clue Readathon hosted by Rainy Blue Reads on Youtube. I really enjoyed the second book in this series I gave the Traitor Queen 5 stars and read it in one sitting last month....However I am still learning about myself as a reader and this is the second time I have read a book that is a new set a characters with a new perspective of similar events that happened in the previous book and I didn't love it....
I am all for having a new perspective but give me a new story please... I realize this could very well be a me issue and I probably could have enjoyed this book more if I hadn't read these books so close together...
There are aspects to this story that are their own that are important to what happened to these characters but I feel like this was very much a set up book.
I do plan on continuing this series I'm just going to have to spread the books out more especially if the first book in each duology is going to repeat the same events...Its just to similar for me personally...
