Persepolis Rising by James S.A. Corey

4.0

I wasn’t as invested in this one as much as most of the others. I think the huge time gap between this book and the previous one really got to me. I haven’t read any of the novellas so far but I definitely feel like I missed something and may have to read the novella that goes before this book to hopefully fill in the gaps. However, this ending was probably one of the biggest cliff hangers and most infuriating if the series I think. Was internally screaming. Also, I am always impressed when an author(s) can make me love a character who I previously hated. They have done that in this book (and the ones leading up to it) with Claire. I don’t know how I’m still so invested in this story line but the length of this series and it holding my attention I also find impressive.
