Part of me wonders if this book was written before Take Me because the characters felt so disjointed, I couldn't enjoy it. Luke and Janica are sibling-in-laws with an earth-shattering attraction to each other. It's only after Luke comes over for a booty call that she realizes she loves him. And it went downhill from there. Luke's constant lashing out and "please stay"s drove me nuts and I wasn't the one he was playing emotional hacky sack with. I understand the need to expand upon the characters and give them depth when they become primary instead of secondary, but did they have to be so dramatic? I give it 2 stars for the steamy sex (which there was a lot of) and the update on Lily and Travis.
