I loved this, as I mostly love all Jeanette Winterson. There's something quite comforting about this book, with recipes punctuating the beautifully crafted short stories. It's like sitting by the fire swapping good stories and good food between friends. The short stories never cease to amaze me, the amount of heart, fear, love and loss within such small stories is fascinating. I loved each and everyone for different reasons. I would recommend this Christmas feast of literature to anyone.
