Did not finish book. Stopped at 28%.
unfortunately i just don't think this book is for me. i picked it up because i love gothic ghost stories. however i'd estimate about 85% of this is just whump. i may come back to this when i'm in the mood for something that's just paragraph after paragraph of anxiety and gender dysphoria and the struggles of being autistic in a victorian society
