I probably would have enjoyed this more if I hadn’t just finished watching the Dark Matter series. I liked that it delved into the science of multiple universes more than most fiction does, but the romantic angle seemed a bit simplistic and contrived. It also leaned a bit too much on the drama of fertility, which in the aftermath of Roe v Wade just sort of hit me the wrong way. Seeing the plot to fruition was my main motivator in pushing through the constant time jumping, which made it difficult for me to stay focused.
