This was just okay. Started off strong and was super interested, but then it slogged in the middle and the ending was pretty expected. Read this really fast though because of the short chapters and the writing reminded me a lot of free-verse/prose type style. It was difficult to get close to any of the characters -- everyone felt very one-dimensional and I actually thought Bela was supposed to be 4 not 8 omg. I really wanted to be more scared from this!!

(I actually think it would've been way scarier if Bela was possessed halfway through, rather than the last literal 2 pages, and if we got POV from a possessed Bela. Ultimately wanted more from this ugh)
