I love kids fiction, but for some reason this didn't really resonate with me. As a product of the Disney generation, who did not read this book as a child, I admit to being too familiar with the wrong version of the subject matter for this to be anything more that cute. The story is famous for it's nonsense, and I can get down with some nonsense. But I found this one to be too much nonsense with nothing to tie it together. Eh.
