I can't not enjoy an adventure with super heroes and zombies, but I can't ignore the inattention to or ignorant treatment of race and the unwelcome and unnecessary ogling of the female form, even when it's a rotting zombie, e.g., "Her shirt sagged open to reveal a black bra and a trail of blood ran down her torso from her neck, accenting her tiny breasts." That said, the story has the characters treating each other with respect across gender, and the female heroes and fighters are bad ass. If the Avengers faced a zombie plague and the story was written grindhouse/pulp style...
