Tear Me Apart
by J.T. Ellison
This is a longer book but it was a good read.
This book is told in a couple different voices and in 3 parts. There are written letters between “V” and Liesel, and the voices of Lauren and Zack.
The question of the book is: What would you do for your best friend? And after you’ve done what was asked of you, just how long could you get away with it? Of course there are some warped ways things change and how things are viewed but that’s part of the twists and turns.
A young phenom of a skier, Mindy, gets into an accident and breaks her leg. She’s out for several weeks and in the course of her much needed surgery they all discover she’s got cancer and needs a transplant from a close match biologically. Easy, right? A mother, a father and an aunt in close proximity. But when the tests are run and they find out that neither her mother, aunt, nor her father are a biological match for her, what the bloody hell is going on and will they figure it out before it’s too late for Mindy?
