I enjoyed the romance, the handful of mysteries, and the bits of magic it had. The narrators were great. The magical island vibes a little bit reminded me of a river enchanted but with less magic and more depressing. Hated Lily - she got what was coming to her. Most the book felt like very depressing vibes and I had to increase the speed by a lot bc it felt like they dragged out the first 60% of the book especially.
