On Solid Ground by Melissa Collins

1.0

There just seemed to be imbalance throughout the book. A lot of time was devoted to Dax and his issues, but less time toward Beck's horrendous background. The death of Dax's boyfriend was presented as a major deal but the death of Beck's sister was glossed over at the end. And the development of their relationship seemed to take second place to each MC's personal issues and to Beck's niece Violet. And the relationship just seesawed up and down from misunderstanding to misunderstanding.
