Losing It
by Cora Carmack
Ebook provided by published via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
Losing It is a story about College Senior Bliss Edwards, and how she wants to finally lose her virginity. After deciding once and for all to "stop thinking" and "just feel" the moment, she decides to have a one-night stand with an unbelievably handsome guy. Problem is, when she realizes she's about to have sex with a guy that she doesn't know anything about, her mind goes into overdrive. She gives him the most ridiculous excuse and leaves him, naked in her bed. The next day, Bliss is mortified to find out that her new teacher is the gorgeous guy she left naked in her bed the night before.
This book was completely hilarious. Reading Bliss's internal dialogue was so entertaining. It was funny to know how she was feeling. I loved her witty remarks and sarcastic way of thinking. The best aspect that Bliss had was her personality. She was completely down to earth and relatable.
The love interest in this book is SMOKING HOT . He's the epitome of book boyfriends everywhere. From his smile, to his eyes, to his BRITISH ACCENT, he was completely irresistible.

Also, the love between them was completely believable. There was no insta-love, and I loved the way they just... clicked. They were each other's perfect match and the author created that perfectly.
I love the way that this book wasn't only about sex. It was mainly about discovering yourself, about frienship, about life, about love. The phrase "We are greater than the sum of our parts" comes to mind. Each aspect of this story would have been good on its own, but when put all together, they created this wonderful story. It is truly better than the sum of its parts.
I find this book was also really character driven, there were tons of great secondary characters, especially Cade, which is the protagonist of the second book in this series, Faking It .
Overall, from the prose, to the characters, everything in this book was incredible. Of course, because of the sex scenes and "mature content", I wouldn't recommend it to everybody, but I sure do recommend it to those who are kind of insecure about themselves and mainly, those college girls out there that think losing "it" is the main priority.
Seriously, if you're mature enough, read it, because you'll love it. Trust me.
5 stars.

"Was this what it always felt like to be turned on? No wonder sex made people do crazy things."
"I would end up alone and miserable with nine cats and ferret. I didn't want to end up alone and miserable with nine cats and a ferret."

"Sex rolled off the man in waves, and I was surprised to find how interested I was in learning how to swim."
"Swallow, Bliss. I told myself, you have to swallow or you might start drooling."
