very  light, very fanfic-y. i can see why i got into the simon snow series when i did. this time around, the plot just felt a little all over the place and the characters were somewhat hot-and-cold. also an odd obsession with how simon must be « fat » now that he’s put on healthy weight and is no longer a malnourished teenager.
