A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole
3.0
***3.5***
Picked up this book for my personal challenge to read at least 6 Romance books in 2021. I don't regret reading it even though the story was predictable.
Naledi Smith, a nerdy orphaned girl in NY is a long lost princess of an African country Thesolo. Obviously she does not know this. She is swept from her feet when a handsome hunk befriends her. And again she does not know his real identity that is He is the Prince Thabiso of the Thesolo kingdom. Next follows a drama of falling out and making up etc. etc. with also a backstory of a corrupt politics in Thesolo.
I did like the story which was light and funny even in situations that were worrisome. Everything was no big deal and sorted out very easily. I was surprised and then remembered it is a "Romance" genre book and everything is to be sorted out easily here.
Well written , good light read :)
Happy Reading!!
