Honestly saw Jamie’s father and betrayal coming a mile away. I feel like this book and the first book could have been combined. Glad Aldrick is alive. I am very endeared to Aldrick. Sadly not feeling the same about his daughter. Also having a hard time believing Daniel would condone what his daughter did, but maybe. I know he was pretty fucked up after what Victor did. What happened after Victor took control was heinous, so I don’t blame him for that. But I almost liked Daniel as much as Baldair and quite frankly, I’m disappointed in him if he did condone that type of hatred from Jamie. Not loving this series like I did Air Awakens.
