The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
4.0
I'm pretty sure I liked this book more than "The Handmaid's Tale".
I enjoyed the continuation of the world of Gilead, and to see some aspects of where it was going and how it happened. I also enjoyed having the story told by three different women who each have different experiences and stories to tell.
I did like learning the inner workings to how Gilead fell. I enjoyed the inner working of life in Gilead and the stories brought forth by Agnes. And seeing how the world was coping beyond the walls of Gilead gave the story a kind of honesty.
I did have some issues. Especially that ending. Why do we still get all of these non-answers to questions brewing for over 30 years?! I'm sure there is some significance to this plot point. It is still frustrating.
I would recommend this for people who have read "The Handmaid's Tale".
