I was a little disappointed because I loved the midnight library by the same author so much so I guess I expected more from the plot.
the writing however did not disappoint. the author himself said this book has some of his best writing and I can see how, because some lines had me blown awayyy.
again the plot execution was disappointing because the synopsis sounded so cool, but the ending was messy and the story seemed to drag on for longer than needed.
other than that there’s no harm in checking it out, but I can definitely see how it’s a ‘not for everybody’ kind of book!
