I enjoy the concept of this book in and of itself. Throughout the book I felt myself getting frustrated with Amaris, when previously she was my favorite of the main cast. I actually really enjoyed this as well, as it felt like she had a lot of growth even though it was "unlikeable" to me it still made her character and her interactions more interesting in this book.
I really enjoyed Nox's relationship with the Reevers throughout her travels in this book. In how she holds herself, how she isn't ashamed yet still private. In this book I really came to enjoy Nox's character as it felt like the beliefs we knew she had (and why) were explored and challenged in a realistic way.
I can't delve too much into my opinions of the rest of the cast without spoilers but I have been enjoying CJ's series immensely. More people need to read this.
