It’s been a month since I’ve read this book, and I still think about it. To the point where I’m contemplating reading it again already or even just listening to the audio version.
It’s a fantastic fantasy novel, and I’m totally curious where this world is going to in the upcoming books. Dragons = a big thumbs up from me, lol.
I really enjoyed Violet and Xaden. Forbidden romance with that protectiveness, it’s the perfect mix. Another aspect of this book that I enjoyed was the disabilities rep, and the fact that Xaden never found her weak. I want more of them and we’ve got a few months to go still until we can dive back in.
One thing, I may be an odd one out, at least amongst my friends and the reviews I’ve seen… the cliffhanger did not shock me. I had suspicions and I was proved correct. I’m still excited to continue the series though even if this one was a little predictable.
