This was a good novelisation of a great serial however a few major aspects of the story was changed, I know these were not written in order of serial release but rather in almost random order. Therefore they changed the introduction of the two human companions which I didn't like, although the novelisation of An Unearthly Child was written later I was still disappointed at the changes. I also prefer the 3rd person narration opposed to Ian's POV. But altogether a decent novel.
