A solid novel. It's got compelling historical fiction. It's got relatable characters you can cheer for. It's got a classic coming of age story.
Definitely some frustrating decisions were made by Francie, but characters can't be perfect and interesting at the same time.
I enjoyed it. I don't really have much else to say.
