Excellent book. Absolutely loved the balance between romance and the case. And I love the emphasis on consensual BDSM, particularly pain. It's rare that I see it outlined so well in books - it's usually written by casuals - but this felt a bit more honest to kink. As for Aaysn's reckoning with his own feelings, it feels appropriate though resolved kind of... Easily. That felt a little dishonest, but since the trial was wrapping up, it was obvious that this timeline had to be sped up too. Also, the judge's character was awesome.
