Liz Tomforde knows how to write FMCs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miller is the world's best dessert chef and is HOT AF. She's having a creative drought in the kitchen and decides some time away to see her dad will help get the custard flowing again. Her dad happens to be the coach for Chicago's baseball team, and their star player Kai just had a surprise baby dropped on his doorstep and cannot stop firing his nannies. I think you know where this is going. Miller agrees to play nanny for the summer, travelling with the team and sexy single daddy Kai for the rest of the season.

The banter between these two was perfect. I love how confident and outspoken Miller is, I love her backstory and the relationship she has with her dad. I love that she's so driven and talented, I love that she was double fisting beers in the morning for their first meeting. I just love her.

I'm not one for a single dad trope, I dunno why it's just not got me in the chokehold it seems to have the Cade Eaton girlies in. That being said, because Kai had all these other layers and the whole tragic martyr thing going on, I too was swooning for Malakai.
