I've always steered clear of Maeve Binchy, because in my head she's catalogued with Catherine Cookson, but I don't believe in knocking things until I've tried them. I was given this in amongst a box of books I wanted to read several years ago, and I thought I should read it before I sent it off to the charity shop.
I was surprised to find that it wasn't that bad. I liked the multiple points of view, and I liked the storyline. I didn't like the egregious typos and execrable editing.
I don't know if I'll want to read it again, but I'm going to hold off on sending it to the charity shop for a while until I've made up my mind.
