If You Go Down to the Woods by Seth C. Adams

3.0

I must say that went into this book without any expectations, and this book disappointed me a little. I was hoping to read an engaging, page-turner book but only found it slow and very long.

The main character Joey annoyed at times for being so immature through the book. Sometimes I wanted to slapped him for being so dumb and dull by doing stupid decisions that literally made me want to scream of frustration. The rest of the characters were okay but never cared enough for them to keep reading. However the dog was the only one I truly cared for.

Nonetheless, the writing was solid and atmospheric. The descriptions that the author brings are decently constructed and well developed. If it wasn’t for the writing would’ve dnf’ed this book right away. Regardless of all the issues I had, I still recommend it if you just want to pass the time.
