The Dragon Heiress by Eve Newton

5.0

This spinoff to the Forever series starts off fast and steamy and keeps on going. This book, the start of a new series and a spinoff, can be read as a stand-alone. Some references to characters and events in the Forever series may have deeper meaning/understanding having read that series, but not enough to distrust the enjoyment of this book.

Delinda is a young female dragon who is has reached an age where her uncle and Emperor is requiring her to marry. As his heir she is expected to marry one of the male dragons on a ‘short list’. Delly has her own idea of who she wants to marry and she schemes to get her way. Meanwhile she discovers her Chosen Ones and decides to emulate her mother and not choose just one.

The story moves along very quickly, the steam factor is sizzling and the cliffhanger isn’t too abrupt. You go in knowing this is a reverse harem series and that additional books are coming to continue the story. I received an aRC from
The author for fair and unbiased review. I’ve read several of the Forever series books, but not all of them and found this to be much more enjoyable.
