The Whispering Statue by Carolyn Keene

3.0

Though a little simplistic (even by Nancy Drew's standards), this book was enjoyable-though the "whispering" component of the story never really clicked for me. As usual, the crooks in the book have a far-reaching scheme, which makes it relatively easy for Nancy to stumble upon clues and solve the case. Though as I read each successive book, I'm a bit more jaded on the characters and story lines, I enjoy each mystery and will keep going until I get through the original collection!
