Dying to Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing by Anita Moorjani

4.0

This is a very down-to-earth, easy to understand story of a complicated experience. You can tell this experience was meant for her because she was able to understand it and explain it in a way that leaves no room for denial of her experience.
She is able to touch on culture, religion, life and death throughout the book without making the reader uncomfortable.
This book is a good read for terminally-ill or hospice patient or a family/friend dealing with such experiences. The book isn’t about giving hope or developing faith, it simply shares what the experience is and the joys and pains that come with it.
