This was just a random buy on my kindle but I loved it. It was a super easy read and the characters were very lovable. The story follows Sam Prichard, a newly retired cop after a shooting accident. He soon finds himself as a PI after the disappearance of a young girl and things escalate from there. It was really fun and I just loved the development of characters. The romance is super cute, a bit of insta love but I honestly didn’t mind it. The book isn’t very long but I didn’t feel like it was rushed like books can be when they have lots going on.
Super keen to keep going with these books; there is a lot of them so woo hoo
