I loved Flux Orbit. So it felt too short. But just right, too. In Flux Orbit, humans have started to spread out into the wide universe, after life on Earth became impossible. Luckily people managed space travel and started colonizing other planets.
The story is centred around Apteryx, the space ship/station that brought Jorihn's crew of 300+ out of Earth. They were pointed to a planet where, it turns out, this thing called Flux that can be used as highly efficient fuel, is present. I really liked Kell. The most interesting parts of the story were Kell and Luc interacting, learning, evolving... I'd love to read more stories in this 'verse.
