Juniper & Thorn by Ava Reid
5.0
i have never read a book quite this like one.
magnificent retelling of a story i should probably read now, the most out-of-pocket, horrific events that realllly immersed me into the “horror” aspect of this book, the most beautiful and astounding prose/imagery that completely encapsulated me in a fairytale-haze, thoughtful and earnest depictions of difficult topics (make sure to read TWs before picking this book up!), and a main couple that pulls at your heartstrings as you slowly walk with them through their collective journeys of finding themselves and their true strengths
also AYOOO SECOND FIVE STAR OF 2023 woot woot
