A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy, Sierra Simone

I love Julie Murphy and I was interested in seeing where this would go. I liked the body positivity and the sex work positivity. I also liked that this was an original concept. It wasn't without issues in terms of how a few things were handled. Characters were caricatures, Bee somehow came off as helpless and naive even though the narrative around her was that she was supposed to be so strong, everyone was queer in a "thrown in for color" kind of way, and this was definitely more of a lust than a love story. Still, it was not bad and it was a quick read. Not really for me, though.
