Definitely thought I'd reviewed this one when I finished it, but alas! As always, this was a fun romp in The Walking Dead universe, showing us a totally different look at the world as opposed to what we are shown on the TV show.
Lily truly comes into her own, moving from just a survivor to a barrel-headed maverick with a knack for leading. To see such a transformation was riveting, though at times a little strange given that she was written by a man.
The one thing I didn't need to know about this universe, I will say, is how zombies can smell menstruating women if they don't use a tampon...talk about questions I didn't need answered!
